Distinguished leaders and guests,
Dear businesses, cooperatives, household businesses and everyone at this meeting,
I am Le Dinh Tuan, representing TakaTech Trading & Services Co., Ltd. On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day, 13 October, allow me to congratulate all entrepreneurs, and thank the organizers for giving me the opportunity to speak today.
Buon Ma Thuot Ward is the heart of the province. Here, almost everyone already uses Zalo, Facebook and QR-code payments. So today I will not discuss whether we should use technology. What we all care about is: how to make technology a real competitive advantage — one that helps us reach new markets, keep customers and run our businesses more effectively.
My talk has three parts: the bottlenecks we often see, how to clear them, and the concrete things TakaTech would like to do together with you.
Three common bottlenecks
Working with and training many organizations in the area, we keep seeing three things.
The first is everything lives in a different place. Customers browse products on Facebook, ask questions over Zalo, orders go into Excel, and payments land in several different accounts. At the end of the month, to know how much you sold and how much you earned, you have to add everything up from scratch.
The second is winning customers but not keeping them. Customers’ phone numbers and purchase histories are all on your phone, but once a sale is done, few businesses follow up or tell customers about the next offer.
The third is competition keeps getting tougher. Customers today can compare prices from five or ten sellers on their phones. Good products alone are not enough — customers have to remember you and come back to you.
Five steps to clear them
Let me suggest five steps, kept short so they are easy to remember.
- Bring it all together: put all your sales channels into one shared management system — open it and you see orders, stock and revenue at a glance.
- Make it transparent: use e-invoices and bank payments, and add QR codes customers can scan to see where a product comes from. It is compliant and it builds trust.
- Care for existing customers: use Zalo to send thank-you notes, reminders and offers automatically. Keeping an existing customer is always cheaper than finding a new one.
- Let AI be your assistant: AI can help write product descriptions, draft replies to customers, plan sales — even answer customers at midnight.
- Invest in people: you can buy software, but people who know how to use it need training. Every business should have at least one person properly trained in digital skills and AI.
You do not need to do all five at once. Just pick the one that is holding you back the most, do it well, then move on.
What TakaTech can do together with you
For producers of specialty and OCOP products
For businesses with Dak Lak specialty and OCOP products, we are ready to:
- Advise on professional, compliant packaging and labels;
- Provide free training to put your products on sale at dacsandaklak.com.vn;
- Support livestreams and run sales skills classes;
- Display products at the Dak Lak Specialties store in the Trung Nguyen Coffee Museum on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, which welcomes many local visitors and tourists.
Three proposals for the ward government
First, continue running digital skills and AI training, organized by industry so that participants can apply what they learn right away.
Second, build a network where businesses that do well can share their experience with each other.
Third, the ward can use official Zalo messages, known as Zalo ZNS, to communicate with businesses and residents. Put simply, these are messages carrying the ward’s name and logo, sent straight to each person’s Zalo without needing to be friends first. When there is a new policy, a training schedule or a tax reminder, the ward only needs to write one message and press send; a few minutes later thousands of households have it, each message costs just a few hundred dong, and the ward knows exactly who received it. TakaTech has developed this software and is ready to work with the ward if needed.
From “using” to “mastering”
As the heart of the province, the business community of Buon Ma Thuot Ward can absolutely lead the way and set an example in applying science, technology and innovation. When we move from using technology to mastering it, Dak Lak’s products will go further, and local businesses will grow stronger.
I wish all leaders, guests and entrepreneurs good health and success, and I wish this meeting every success!
Thank you very much!
